Before…

…wait for it…

After! (but still ‘before’)

The last time we will see these appliances (except, of course, for the fridge which will now happily reside in Samantha and Timm’s Kitchen. Good luck with Baxter! I hope she wanted white and not stainless steel!)

The big dirty gaping hole left by the stove and microwave.

Wow, the appliances look so much more worn lying on the floor in the garage instead of next to our lovely cabinets.

Look at all the lovely grease that dripped down the side of the stove sometime in the last ten years…
P4260017.JPG

Wait a minute! I thought we got rid of the white refridgerator!

Lucy tries to organize all the stuff that was cleared off the counters.

Well isn’t that a nifty way to make a counter template! The guy from the granite counter making place came while the appliances were still being installed. I’ve been told it was quite a spectacle.

And now…the moment we’ve all been waiting for (patiently, through all these non-exciting pictures)
P4280027.JPG
OOOOO!
P4280028.JPG
AHHHH!
P4280029.JPG
Stainless steeeeeel!
P4280030.JPG
More stainless inside AND hidden controls on the top of the door!
P4280031.JPG
Shiny!
P4280034.JPG
Convection oven too!
P4280032.JPG
Oh no! But there’s a dent that makes it impossible to actually close the door.

And the coolest picture of them all!

Stay tuned for more kitchen updates!

It’s to bad they get these new shiny appliances after I decide to move to Virginia… maybe I would have made different decisions if I knew what options I had at home!
